“A great evening at the Vienna State Opera” was the headline in the ‘Merker’: ‘Cavalleria rusticana’ with Elīna Garanča and Jonathan Tetelman as well as ‘I Pagliacci’ with Jonas Kaufmann and Maria Agresta drew rave reviews. On Sunday, February 9, the recording of the Verismo twins will be broadcast on ORF III / Erlebnis Bühne at 8 pm. At the beginning of the program, the protagonists will be interviewed by Barbara Rett.

Insights: Conversation with Jonas Kaufmann and Antonio Pappano
After over 700 performances in 22 years as Music Director of the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Sir Antonio Pappano will bid farewell with a series of performances of Giordano's Andrea Chenier, starring Jonas Kaufmann, Sondra Radvanovsky and Amartuvshin Enkhbat.
